That video there is so racist. Matt and Trey need to pay for their actions. I'm so offended and I didn't find that funny at all! Get that movie out of circulation or I'm going to be very, very angry with the government and then write them a letter telling them how angry I am with them!!

Also, excellent link PMK...you did well sir.

Yeah, man! Because South Park did it, it makes it totally cool for dumb vendors to turn a cheap buck on it, too! Nevermind that South Park's creators are comedians, and comedy traditionally occupies a cultural sweet spot that allows it to find the funny in stereotypes, for good or for bad. Also nevermind that vendors aren't nearly as accomplished, and that what they're selling -- a dumb t-shirt -- isn't nearly as funny.

No, you're right: These two things are exactly the same.

Also, can everyone please stop quoting Stuff White People Like? White people do .... this! We get it. We're all familiar with one another. Ha. Fucking. Ha.

haha PostmanE, you just offended me!! Now I'm offended that you're offended that I was being offended by something someone else offended me with offensively.

Also, nevermind that Stuff White People Like's creators are comedians, and comedy traditionally occupies a cultural sweet spot that allows it to find the funny in stereotypes, for good or for bad.

If I may ... a) I am not a cubs fan. b) I'm am one of the most inappropriate people I know, at least with my friends. c) i find these tshirts mildly amusing and wouldn't mind owning one but would find few occasions appropriate to wear it, making the my perceived value very low. d) even if they were produced for one of my favorite sports teams, thanks to the recession, I probably can't afford one.

So the moral of the story is, don't buy stupid tshirts because we all need to pay down our debt, invest in new tech, and purchase real estate for the long term when the prices in our individual locales reach their burst-bubble lows.

Again, Jason, you seem not to be able to distinguish between things that are funny and things that aren't.

    South Park: funny.
Stuff White People Like: not funny.

    Better?

I'm offended that you think you can tell me what is funny and what is not funny!
  • PMK · 1 year ago
I guess if PostmanE says it is not funny we can't think its funny. Sorry, Jason. Viva la Blog!
